Spring Action Airsoft Pistols

Electric Airsoft Pistols

The electric airsoft gun uses the same compressed air that propels the BB out of the bore is reused to cycle the slide back (aka-blowback) creating a realistic "recoil" by cycling the slide/upper receiver back-and-forth while firing the gun. It was developed in Japan and it is the most frequently used type of airsoft guns. A rechargeable battery is usually used to power an electric motor within the internal assembly that shoots the pellets. Gas Airsoft Pistols

Gas airsoft pistols use pressurized gas to propel pellets; this type of airsoft pistol is usually the most proficient of the three types. HFC-134a and Green Gas, which is a blend of polysiloxane lubricant and propane, are the two most commonly used gas. The less common gases are nitrogen, C02, and red gas. Gas works well with pistols. Since all models are manufactured to a high degree of surface detail and dimension, these are for the serious collector.
